The Learning Support Service is a well-established and well regarded service which has enjoyed excellent working relationships with schools across Leicestershire for over 20 years.
The Learning Support Service offers a continuum of support to schools and academies which can be flexible and tailored to meet individual needs or requirements.
The service consists of a team of qualified, experienced specialist tutors and assessors who support children and young people experiencing general and/or specific learning difficulties.
Tutors hold a Level 7 post graduate qualification in assessing and teaching learners with Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia) and a current Assessment Practicing Certificate.
The main aim of the service is to empower schools and academies in providing suitable learning opportunities and experiences for children and young people who have general and/or specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia.
